SAMSUNG GALAXY S7 & S7 EDGE REVIEW. (If it isn't broken)

Unlike many other tech experts, I will not be going to bluntly judge +Samsung and say they've made an S6s or an extension of the S6, because every single move Samsung has made towards the S7 is of progress and in the process delivered what the consumers needed and asked for

Starting with the IP68 certification, which is just not getting enough attention and limelight as it can single handed be the key to success for the S7 and the S7 edge. The fact that this beautiful looking and performing device can be submerged under water, 5 feet deep for 30 mins is a sheer winning proposition when compared to the rivals in the business.

Samsung is on the forefront when it comes to groundbreaking camera technology and the predecessor S6 already had a beast of a camera, the S7 & the S7 edge, with the 'eyebrow-raising' aperture of f/1.7 and 1.4-micron pixel sensor, dual pixel lens made me smile ear to ear. This results in amazing shutter speeds and probably (metaphorically) better camera than the eyesight of a real life 'owl' in low light. If one is savvy with tech, one would know "more megapixels" don't mean better camera so I am not going to delve into the cut down from S6's 16MP to S7's 12MP.

When Samsung made the S5, I guess they subconsciously knew people would throw stones at it so they already made the back of the phone look like a "band-aid". But what they did with the S6 was just stunning, visually, when their back was against the wall.

I am really happy the S7 looks not a lot different from the S6 coz i just loved the S6 & the S6 edge. Samsung has done exactly what we asked of them
a) Made the back of the S7 curvey for better grip. (glass back is still slippery but better than the S6)
b) Added a 200 GB memory expandability option.
c) 3000 mAh battery for the 5.1" S7 & 3600 mAh battery for the 5.5" S7 edge (fast charging) that incorporates a liquid cooling system for better heat management efficiency when the +Snapdragon 820 processor works overtime.

With the launch of the S7 and the S7 Edge, we can, for certain say that the company listens to the consumers, so let me throw this out there, If only the phones had come with shatterproof glass (front & back) the one on the +Motorola X Force, it would a 100% winner as people now will definitely have to get a protective cover or a skin and cover the beautiful beast which would kill the whole purpose of the design.

Both S7 and the S7 edge come with the trimmed down version of the ever 'touch wiz UI', which everyone seem to love and the swipe from right for easy access to a lot more utilities, shortcuts, apps and lot more, on the S7 edge is an amazing new, much-needed improvement from the S6 edge.

I think, with the 3600 mAh battery and beautiful (useful) edges, the Galaxy S7 Edge makes a better buying option for all.

Samsung unquestionably are on a winning streak here only as long as they listen to 'us'. Having said that, thank you Samsung, for not fixing what's not broken (looking at you, +HTC) and back to your drawing board coz the S8 'needs' to be completely different and new in every which way, you have your work cut out for you. It is going to be a tough battle between the giants with the likes of +LG bringing their big guns out with the amazing new G5 and the yet to be launched +iPhone 7.

Thanks and regards from another happy customer. Cheers.
